Taryn Lee is a Eurasian, neurodivergent artist from Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Design from Toronto Metropolitan University in Fashion Communication. Her fashion illustrations have been published in Goldfoil, LAZIN and ZOOT magazines.
Her art focuses on colourful, representational figurative works, portraits, and stylized fashion sketches. She’s interested in people’s personal style and how they express unique identity through clothing and dress.
She has experience teaching children art in a classroom setting. She’s created and instructed various online courses: 5-week ‘Expressive Fashion Illustration with Watercolour’, 10-week ‘Expressive Fashion Illustration with Mixed Media’ and 6-week ‘Expressive Portraits in Mixed Media’ in collaboration with Workman Arts. She’s been teaching a monthly in-person art workshop in Toronto with CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) at their Patient & Family Learning Space since February 2023.
